Systemax was formed in 1990 providing custom software and database development. In the early years, although we began with some mainframe applications, our software was primarily designed for a desktop environment. Today the majority of our applications are built using client/server models and primarily for intranet environments. Most of our software does not require client installations. This allows us to easily manage version changes and revisions.
